How Inca Dove's search for food.
Inca Dove's search for food in open area's for example, parks, barnyard's, open space backyard's behind house's, or bird feeder's. On dried soil Inca Dove's peck their beak's at the ground to find seed's, and during breeding season Inca Dove's often forage for food in pair's or group's, But in season's of Autumn, or Winter Inca Dove's search for food in large flock's.

The name of the Inca Dove
The Inca Dove was named after the Inca Empire, but the Inca Dove doesn't live anywhere in the region where the Inca Empire was, but Inca Doves are expanding north and south. Even some controversy over the name Inca Dove are suggesting to change the name to Aztec Dove instead.
The Range Of The Inca Doves
The Inca Doves are common in large areas like cities, and towns of the southwest, suburban areas,woodland areas, savannah, and also live in dense shrubs and small trees, and bushes. Though, the Inca Dove has expanded to areas for breeding in north and southward, remains constaint in urban areas. Species Name: Inca Dove
Scientific Name: Columbina Inca
Appearance: Inca Doves have gray-brown feathers giving a fish scale like appearance
Range: Inca Doves are common in the Southwest and have expanded northward and southward.
Reproduction: Inca Dove males build the nest's with stems, grasses, leaves, twigs and strips of bark. Then when the female Inca Dove comes, the Dove arranges the nest properly. After a few days the pair abandon the nest and build another nest(there may be 1 or 2 false nests). The female Inca Dove then lay's 2 eggs and after 12-14 days the baby Inca Doves leave the nest to join a flock of juvenile Inca Doves. The parent Inca Doves then move on to start another nest and mate again.
Diet: The Inca Doves diet usually consists of eating dried seeds, wheat, oat, and smaller seeds available as well as weeds, and grass seeds.
Extra Facts: The Inca Doves disticnt call "coo-coo" is often meaning "no hope".
